49ers-Rams Injury Report: QB Brock Purdy, WR Jauan Jennings, WR Ricky Pearsall, WR Jordan Watkins, & DE Robert Beal Jr. out, NT C.J. West questionable for week 5 matchup with the Rams

The 49ers are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams tomorrow night at SoFi Stadium, and they’ll be without several players, including starting quarterback Brock Purdy.

Out:

QB Brock Purdy (Toe)

WR Jauan Jennings (Ankle & Rib)

WR Ricky Pearsall (Knee)

WR Jordan Watkins (Calf)

DE Robert Beal Jr. (Ankle)

Questionable:

NT C.J. West (Thumb)

With Brock Purdy officially ruled out, the 49ers will need to elevate or sign practice squad quarterback Adrian Martinez to be the backup QB.

With Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, & Jordan Watkins all ruled out, the 49ers will need to elevate or sign one of their 3 wide receivers on the practice squad, Malik Turner, Russell Gage Jr., & Junior Bergen.

It’s also possible the 49ers will have to sign or elevate someone off their practice squad with Robert Beal Jr. ruled out, & C.J. West questionable, with options being Trevis Gipson, & William Bradley-King at defensive end, & either Sebastian Valdez or Evan Anderson on the interior defensive line.
