The 49ers couldn’t overcome the mistakes and a sloppy football game where they gave up 5 turnovers, including the game sealing sack by former 49er Arik Armstead as the Jaguars beat the 49ers 26-21, putting the 49ers at 3-1 now.

Brock Purdy went 22/38 for 309 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, but 2 interceptions that led to Jaguars touchdowns.

Purdy also had 13 rushing yards on 2 carries, while Christian McCaffrey led the way on the ground with 49 rushing yards on 17 carries, while Brian Robinson Jr. had 21 rushing yards on 5 carries.

McCaffrey also led the team in receiving with 92 receiving yards on 6 catches, along with 1 receiving touchdown.

Jake Tonges had the other receiving touchdown, while catching 3 passes for 58 receiving yards, while Ricky Pearsall had 46 receiving yards on 4 catches, followed by Kyle Juszyczk with 32 receiving yards on 3 catches.

Jauan Jennings had 2 catches for 24 receiving yards, while Demarcus Robinson had 1 catch for 20 receiving yards, Luke Farrell had 20 receiving yards, and Kendrick Bourne had 1 catch for 17 receiving yards.

Defensively, Dee Winters led the way with 9 tackles, followed by Fred Warner, & Marques Sigle with 8 tackles each, followed by Deommodore Lenoir & Jason Pinnock having 6 tackles each.

Darrell Luter Jr., who started in place of the injured Renardo Green, had 5 tackles.

The 49ers had zero sacks, but did have 6 TFLs, 1 each for Winters, Lenoir, Luter, Sam Okuayinonu, Bryce Huff, & Kalia Davis.

PBU wise, the 49ers had 2, 1 each by Winters & Sigle.

Special teams wise, Eddy Piñeiro went 2/2 on field goals, with a long of 26-yards, Thomas Morstead had 2 punts for 91-yards, & Skyy Moore had 3 kick returns for 80-yards, and 1 kick return for 16-yards.
