The 49ers are set the play the New York Giants this Sunday, and we have their injury report for the game.

Out:

WR Ricky Pearsall (Knee)

C Jake Brendel (Hamstring)

DE Bryce Huff (Hamstring)

DE Yetur Gross-Matos (Hamstring)

Questionable:

QB Brock Purdy (Toe()

LG Ben Bartch (Ankle)

LT Spencer Burford (Knee)

DE Sam Okuayinonu (Ankle)

DT Jordan Elliott(Ankle)

WLB Dee Winters (Knee)

With Purdy questionable, but not ruled out, there’s a chance he suits up as the #2 quarterback, if not, then Adrian Martinez will once again be the teams’ #2 quarterback on Sunday, while the 49ers will be without Pearsall at wide receiver, they will have the remaining 5 wide outs active Sunday, those being Jauan Jennings, Demarcus Robinson, Kendrick Bourne, Skyy Moore, & Jordan Watkins, so there’s no need to elevate a wide receiver.

With Brendel out, the 49ers will certainly elevate or add Nick Zakelj to the 53-man roster to backup Matt Hennessy at center, while Burford & Bartch are questionable, both are on injured reserve, but with Burford practicing all week it’s likely he gets activated tomorrow for Sunday’s game to go with Trent Williams, Connor Colby, Hennessy, Dominick Puni, Colton McKivitz, Zakelj, & Austen Pleasants as the active 8 offensive lineman.

With both Huff & Gross-Matos out, & Okuayinonu questionable I think it’s obvious that Clelin Ferrell gets elevated for Sunday’s game to go with Mykel Williams, Robert Beal Jr., & Newcomer Keion White at defensive end, while Elliott is questionable, not due to his injury, but due to a personal matter then the 49ers will likely go with Alfred Collins, Kevin Givens, C.J. West, & Kalia Davis on the interior of the defensive line, and if Winters can’t do then the 49ers will elevate either Jalen Graham or Stone Blanton.

So I think it’s obvious that the 49ers will elevate Ferrell, and either elevate or sign Zakelj to the 53-man roster, while it’s possible Graham or Blanton gets elevated for Sunday’s game.
