The 49ers made a slew of roster moves today ahead of their week 2 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, as they’ve signed stronside linebacker Curtis Robinson to the 53-man roster, along with elevating quarterback Adrian Martinez, & tight end Brayden Willis, and finally they waived defensive end Robert Beal Jr. to make room for Robinson.

The elevations are not a surprise, as the 49ers are without starting quarterback Brock Purdy tomorrow, so they needed to elevate Martinez, and without tight end George Kittle, now on IR, making the Willis elevation obvious.

Robinson played in the 49ers week 1 win over the Seahawks, so it’s most likely that he’s active, while 3rd-round rookie weakside linebacker Nick Martin will likely be inactive.
