The 49ers extended the contract of right tackle Colton McKivitz earlier this week, and thanks to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, we now know the details of that deal.

McKivitz got a $6.8 million signing bonus, a fully guaranteed 2025 base salary o $1.17 million, an $8.185 million 2026 option bonus that is fully guaranteed, a fully guaranteed $1.215 million 2026 base salary, along with a $12.67 million option bonus due in 2027, with $8.29 million of it being guaranteed for injury with $6.29 million becoming fully guaranteed on April 1, 2026, & the other $2 million becoming fully guaranteed on April 1, 2027.

He also has yearly per game roster bonuses, $510,000 in 2025, & $680,000 in 2026-2028, along with yearly workout bonuses of $150,00.

There is also a $6.8 million option bonus due in 2028 which is non-guaranteed.

Below are his yearly salary cap numbers.

2025: $4,130,222

2026: $5,870,000

2027: $8,689,000

2028: $15,763,000

In 2029 there is a $17.676 million dead money hit.
