The 49ers have released strong safety/special teams ace George Odum, who had $1 million of his 2025 base salary guaranteed on April 1.
The 49ers saved $715,000 in cap room in 2025, & $2.125 million in 2026, while having $2,316,666 dead money hit in 2025, & $1,216,668 in dead money for 2026.
