Contract details for 49ers MLB Fred Warner’s extension are in

The 49ers signed middle linebacker Fred Warner to a 3-year, $63 million extension last week, and thanks to OverTheCap.com, we have his details.

Warner got a $16.395 million signing bonus, a fully guaranteed $1.255 million 2025 base salary, he also is due a $21 million option bonus, while his 2026 & 2027 base salaries become fully guaranteed on April 1, 2026.

He also have $500,000 per game roster bonuses in 2025 & 2026, then $750,000 in 2027-2029, and $100,000 workout bonuses each year.

The deal saved the 49ers $13.116 million in 2025 cap room, and $16.98 million in 2026 cap room.
