49ers announce signing of 11 players to reserve/futures contracts

The 49ers announced that they’ve signed the following 11 players to reserve/futures contracts, which are typically 1-year or 2-year deals, with little to no guaranteed money, and don’t kick in until the new league year begins, so it has no effect on the 2024 salary cap.

WR Trent Taylor

WR Terique Owens

TE Mason Pline

C Drake Nugent

LG Zack Johnson

RT Sebastian Gutierrez

DE Jonathan Garvin

DE Tarron Jackson

CB Chase Lucas

FS Jaylen Mahoney

All of the above players were on the 49ers practice squad at the end of the 2024 regular season.
