The 49ers have fired defensive coordinator Steve Wilks after just one season with the team, a year where the defense was not up to par when compared to previous years, plus major letdowns, and a bad 3 game losing streak, which wasn’t on Brock Purdy, but on the defense not being able to stop anyone.
