49ers elevate CB Eli Apple ahead of their week 4 matchup with the Jaguars

The 49ers made one roster move today, as they’ve elevated cornerback Eli Apple ahead of their week 4 matchup with the Jaguars.

This move most likely means Renardo Green won’t be able to play due to a neck injury, but it also means that one of the 2 wide receivers that are questionable, Jauan Jennings, & Ricky Pearsall, will be able to play tomorrow, and it also means that Connor Colby will start at left guard for the 49ers.

And since the 49ers didn’t elevate quarterback Adrian Martinez, that means Mac Jones will be the backup to Brock Purdy.
