The 49ers went into Miami, and lost 29-17 in a game where the 49ers were riddled with penalty after penalty after penalty, and injury after injury after injury, where Brock Purdy went 26/40 for 313 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 1 bad interception, that really ended the game for them.
Purdy also led the team in rushing with 26 rushing yards, while Deebo Samuel Sr. had 25 rushing yards on 5 carries, followed by Patrick Taylor Jr. with 24 rushing yards on 8 carries, and Kyle Juszckzyk with 1 carry for 6 rushing yards.

Jauan Jennings had 51 receiving yards on 4 catches, while Ricky Pearsall, who had some crucial penalties that hurt the team, had 37 receiving yards on 4 catches.
The only other catches were Juszcyzk’s 1 catch for 20 receiving yards, Eric Saubert with 1 catch for 2 receiving yards, which was also a receiving touchdown, and Taylor with 1 catch for 1 receiving yard.
Defensive wise, Renardo Green, & Fred Warner led the way with 10 tackles each, followed by Dee Winters with 8 tackles, Talanoa Hufanga with 6 tackles, Malik Mustapha with 5 tackles, and Nick Bosa & Deommdore Lenoir with 4 tackles each.
Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, & Yetur Gross-Matos had 2 tackles each.
The team was shutout in the sack column, but had 3 TFLs, 1 each by Bosa, Flannigan-Fowles, & Jordan Elliott.
PBU wise, the team had 6, 2 for Charvarius Ward, and 1 each for Green, Winters, Lenoir, & Flannigan-Fowles.

The 49ers really shot themselves in the foot this game, penalty after penalty, miscues, missed field goal, bad execution by the offense, and just injury after injury, the 49ers were already eliminated from 2024-2025 playoff contention due to wins in the early window by the Rams, & Commanders,
