49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has just given the teams injury report for this Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, and they’ll be without star left tackle Trent Williams, and running back Isaac Guerendo, the entire report is below.
Out:
RB Isaac Guerendo (Hamstring & Foot)
LT Trent Williams (Ankle)
Questionable:
DE Nick Bosa (Hip & Oblique)
DE Robert Beal Jr. (Ankle)
WLB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles & Knee)
With Guerendo out, the 49ers will for sure elevate running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn for the 3rd and final regular season game allowed, to go with Patrick Taylor Jr., and rookie Israel Abinakanda, who was claimed off waivers a few weeks back.
With Williams out, the 49ers will likely go with the 8 that they had active last week, Jaylon Moore, Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel, Dominick Puni, Colton McKivitz, Nick Zakelj, Spencer Burford, & Sebastian Gutierrez.
With Bosa, & Beal questionable, the 49ers would likely elevate or sign either defensive ends Jonathan Garvin, or Alex Barrett, while if Greenlaw can’t go, then they will likely sign or elevate one weakside linebacker Chandler Wooten, or stronside linebacker DaShaun White, or the team is more likely to sign middle linebacker Jalen Graham to the 53-man roster now that weakside linebacker De’Vondre Campbell Sr. has been suspended for quitting on the team last week when he refused to go into the game when Greenlaw had to come out due to the knee injury.
So, I expect the 49ers to fill Campbell’s roster spot with Graham, and elevate Vaughn, and either Garvin, Barrett, Wooten, or White for Sunday’s game.
