49ers defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos, who started in place of star defensive end Nick Bosa, has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for week 14.
Gross-Matos had 4 total tackles, including 3 sacks, a real breakout game for him, he now has 4 sacks on the season, and hopefully this is just the beginning, because the 49ers really can use someone, young, to put opposite Bosa for the future.
Congrats to Gross-Matos, a well deserved honor, and with that said, I thank you for reading, and follow me on X/Twitter @49erscap, & on Blue Sky App @49erscap.bsky.social.
