The 49ers just had their press conference, and the 49ers will be without starting quarterback Brock Purdy for Sunday’s game in Green Bay against the Packers, along with defensive end Nick Bosa, and the full injury report is below.

Out:

QB Brock Purdy (Shoulder)

WR Jacob Cowing (Concussion)

DE Nick Bosa (Hip & Oblique)

DT Kevin Givens (Groin)

CB Charvarius Ward (Personal)

Questionable:

C/RG Jon Feliciano (Knee)

LT Trent Williams (Ankle)

With Purdy out, that means Brandon Allen, as Kyle Shanahan said, will start at quarterback, and if the team wants an emergency 3rd QB they’ll need to elevate Tanner Mordecai from the practice squad, while with Cowing out the 49ers won’t need to elevate any of their wide receivers, as they have 5 other healthy ones on the 53, Deebo Samuel Sr., Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Chris Conley, & Ronnie Bell.

With Bosa out, the 49ers could elevate either Alex Barrett or Jonathan Garvin, but they do have 4 other healthy defensive ends on the 53, Leonard Floyd, Yetur Gross-Matos, Sam Okuayinonu, & Robert Beal Jr., while with Givens out, the 49ers won’t need to elevate nose tackle Nesta Jade Silvera from the practice squad, as they have Maliek Collins, Jordan Elliott, Kalia Davis, Evan Anderson, & Khalil Davis all healthy on the 53, interior defensive line wise.

Ward is out due to personal reasons, so expect them to elevate cornerback Nick McCloud, as they have 4 healthy cornerbacks on the 53, Deommodore Lenoir, Renardo Green, Isaac Yiadom, & Rock Ya-Sin.

As far as Williams being questionable, the team doesn’t have any offensive tackles on the practice squad, so the 49ers likely would go with the usual other 7 offensive lineman, Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel, Dominick Puni, Colton McKivitz, Nick Zakelj, Spencer Burford, & Jaylon Moore, plus Ben Bartch as the 8 active offensive lineman.

Feliciano is also questionable, but he’s still on injured reserve, and must be activated off of it this week in order for him to be able to play this season, so it’s possible the 49ers activate him, while placing someone on injured reserve or waiving a player, so expect the 49ers to elevate Mordecai, & McCloud for this week’s game.
