The 49ers have put out there injury report for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, good news is wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is set to be activated for Sunday’s game, bad new is wide receiver Jauan Jennings has been ruled out, but the full report is below.

Questionable:

DT Kevin Givens (Groin)

CB Darrell Luter Jr. (Pelvis)

Out:

WR Jauan Jennings (Hip)

PK Jake Moody (Ankle)

PK Matthew Wright (Shoulder, & Back)

With Givens questionable, that only leaves 3 healthy interior defensive lineman healthy, Maliek Collins, Jordan Elliott, & Kalia Davis, so the 49ers would likely elevate either defensive tackle/nose tackle T.Y. McGill Jr., or nose tackle Evan Anderson, who could also be signed to the 53-man roster, since he’s shown a lot of promise in his 2 games he’s played this year, while if Luter can’t go, the 49ers have 5 healthy cornerbacks, Charvarius Ward, Deommodore Lenoir, Isaac Yiadom, Renardo Green, & Rock Ya-Sin, so no need to elevate cornerback Chase Lucas.

Since Jennings is out, & the 49ers will be activating Pearsall, the 49ers don’t need to elevate either wide receiver/punt returner Trent Taylor or wide receiver Terique Owens, as they have 5 more healthy wide receivers on the 53, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel Sr., Chris Conley, Jacob Cowing, & Ronnie Bell, who could be waived to make room for Pearsall, while with both Moody, & Wright out, new 49ers place kicker Anders Carlson will either be elevated, or signed to the 53-man roster.

Reports have it that Wright will be going on injured reserve, will he’d most likely be waived off of it with an injury settlement, meaning the 49ers might not need to cut anyone tomorrow when they activate Pearsall off of reserve/NFI, which apparently will count towards the 49ers maximum of 8 players allowed off of injured reserve, despite him not being on injured reserve.

If I had to take a guess, the 49ers will likely activate Pearsall, place Wright on injured reserve, and elevate Anderson, and free safety/strong safety Adrian Amos or free safety/strong safety Jaylen Mahoney for their week 7 matchup with the Chiefs, which would be the 3rd & final game Anderson & Mahoney can be elevated for this season, and the first for Amos, who was just signed earlier this week.

Also in other news, the New York Giants signed left tackle/right tackle Chris Hubbard off of the 49ers practice squad, as their left tackle Andrew Thomas is out for the season with a lisfranc injury.
