The 49ers came through big in today’s game against the New England Patriots, winning the game 30-13, a game where the offense was the star(s) of the show, which saw Brock Purdy go 15/27 for 288 passing yards, along with 1 touchdown pass, & an interception.

Purdy also had 4 carries for 12 rushing yards, while Jordan Mason led the way with yet another 100+ yard game, going for 123 rushing yards on 24 carries, along with 1 rushing touchdown, while also having 2 catches for 37 receiving yards.

Jauan Jennings led the way receiving with 88 receiving yards on 3 catches, while Deebo Samuel Sr. had 58 receiving yards on 3 catches, plus 14 rushing yards on 2 carries.

Brandon Aiyuk has 2 catches for 48 receiving yards, while George Kittle had 4 catches for 45 receiving yards, along with the lone receiving touchdown, & Kyle Juszczyk has 1 catch for 12 receiving yards.

Mason also had 2 fumbles, 1 of them looked to be more on Purdy, the other clearly on Mason.

On defense, the 49ers had a total of 6 sacks, by far their most of the season, with Nick Bosa having 1, Kevin Givens with 2.5 sacks, Maliek Collins with 1.5 sacks, & rookie Evan Anderson got his first career sack on one of his only defensive snaps.

Ji’Ayir Brown led the way with 8 tackles, followed by Fred Warner, & De’Vondre Campbell who both had 7 tackles, followed by Charvarius Ward, Bosa, & Malik Mustapha with 5 tackles each.

Leonard Floyd ended the game with 4 tackles, same for Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, followed by Givens, Collins, & Deommodore Lenoir with 2 tackles each.

TFL wise, the 49ers had 7, 2 for Brown, and 1 each for Bosa, Givens, Collins, Anderson, & Sam Okuayinonu, who also had a forced fumble, which led to points.

PBU wise, the 49ers have 5, 1 each for Brown, Warner, Ward, Lenoir, & Isaac Yiadom.

Warner had the teams’ lone interception, which was a 45-yard pick 6 early in the game, but Warner didn’t return to game after going down at the end of the 1st half, but this was likely a precaution, as it didn’t seem like Warner was in a lot of pain, he was still in uniform in the 2nd half.

Bosa & Collins also had 1 fumble recovery each, while the 49ers had a total of 10 QB hits, with Floyd & Givens having 3 each, Collins with 2, Bosa & Okuyainonu with 1 each.

On special teams, this was not the prettiest game, with rookie Isaac Guerendo fumbling the 2nd-half kickoff, which led to a Patriots touchdown, he did have 23-yards on 1 kick return, and 8-yards on 2 punts while Juszcyzk had 8-yards on 1 punt return.

Jake Moody went 3/3 on field goals, with a long of 41-yards, along with 1 from 26-yards and 1 from 22-yards, and he went 3/3 on extra points, while Mitch Wishnowsky had 3 punts for 133-yards, with a long of 47-yards.

Overall, the 49ers played much much better this week, although I wouldn’t call this game a blowout, the 49ers pretty much had the game in hand, but they need to capitalize when in the red zone, points are always nice, even if just 3, but they need to get into the end zone.

The 49ers have the Arizona Cardinals up next, at Levi’s Stadium, at 1:05pm pacific/4:05 eastern, on FOX, next Sunday, and with that said I thank you for reading, and you can follow me on X/Twitter @49erscap.
