The 49ers released their injury report for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, which will be played at SoFi Stadium, at 1:25pm pacific/4:25pm eastern, on FOX, and the 49ers have the following players designated as either out, doubtful, or questionable for the game.
Out:
WR Deebo Samuel Sr. (Calf)
Doubtful:
TE George Kittle (Hamstring)
Questionable:
DE Nick Bosa (Rib)
CB Charvarius Ward (Hamstring & Knee)
With Samuel out, the team could end up finally filling the roster spot left open when they placed Christian McCaffrey on injured reserve by signing either a wide receiver or a running back to the 53-man roster.
With Kittle doubtful to play, I’d expect the 49ers to elevate tight end Brayden Willis for this weekends game.
If Bosa can’t go, I’d expect the 49ers to elevate defensive end Sam Okuayinonu, who was elevated week 1 when Yetur Gross-Matos was out, while I doubt the 49ers will elevate a cornerback, as the team has 5 more healthy cornerbacks on the roster, that’s of course if Ward can’t go.
