Yesterday 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. would be out for a couple of weeks due to a calf strain that he suffered this past Sunday, when the 49ers lost to the Vikings for an 8th straight time in Minnesota.
With both Samuel, & Christian McCaffrey out for the foreseeable future, the 49ers will need to have the likes of Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Jordan Mason, & Jauan Jennings to step up even more.
The 49ers still have an open roster spot on their 53-man roster, and it’s unknown if they’ll add a wide receiver or a running back to take McCaffrey’s roster spot.
