The 49ers announced two roster moves today, ahead of their week 2 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings tomorrow, as they’ve placed running back Christian McCaffrey on injured reserve, and elevated strong safety/free safety Tracy Walker III from the practice squad for tomorrow’s week 2 game.
McCaffrey will now miss at least the next 4 games, due to his calf, & Achilles injuries, but the hope is that he is able to return at 100%, we wish McCaffrey a speedy recovery.
