The 49ers restructured the contract of defensive tackle Maliek Collins earlier this week, and thanks to OverTheCap.com, we now have his terms.

Collins lowered his 2024 & 2025 base salaries down to the league minimum of $1.21 million for 2024, & $1.255 million for 2025, in return Collins gets a $6.79 million signing bonus this season, and a $8.425 million option bonus in 2025, which helps lower his cap number down to just $4.762 million, saving over $5.5 million in 2025 cap room, putting the 49ers $6.217 million under a projected 2025 cap of $280 million, before any potential carryover, as the team still has $55.215 million in cap room for 2024.
