The 49ers have announced a series of roster moves, including placing rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall on reserve/NFI after Pearsall was a victim of a robbery this past weekend, and was shot in the chest, but has since been released from the hospital, so let’s hope he takes care of himself first & foremost before he attempts to come back, as his life is more important than playing football at this point.
The 49ers also made another handful of roster moves today, as they re-signed right tackle/left tackle Brandon Parker to the 53-man roster, effectively taking Pearsall’s roster spot, while they released left tackle Sebastian Gutierrrez from the practice squad, and signed defensive end Sam Okuayinonu to take his place on the practice squad.
