The 49ers and Packers divisional round game came down to a Dre Greenlaw game sealing INT, in fact he had 2 INTs today, in a game where Brock Purdy led the team on a game winning touchdown drive, where Christian McCaffrey scored his 2nd rushing touchdown.
Purdy finished the game 23/39 for 252 passing yards, and 1 passing touchdown, a nice 32-yarder to George Kittle.
McCaffrey had 17 carries for 98 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns, while he also had 7 catches for 30 receiving yards.
Kittle led the team with 81 receiving yards on 4 catches, while Jauan Jennings came up big with a few 3rd down conversions, as he had 5 catches for 61 yards, and Deebo Samuel, who left the game with a shoulder injury, & didn’t return ended with 2 catches for 24 yards.
On defense, Greenlaw led the team with 8 tackles, while his running mate Fred Warner had 7 tackles.
Charvarius Ward had 5 tackles, same for Deommodore Lenoir, & Ambry Thomas.
Tashaun Gipson Sr. had 3 tackles, same for Logan Ryan.
TFL wise, the 49ers had 4, 1 each for Warner, Greenlaw, Javon Kinlaw, & Randy Gregory, but they had no sacks today.
As for pass defended, Greenlaw had 2, while Ward had 1.
On special teams, the Jake Moody was 1/2 on field goals, with one being blocked at the end of the 1st half, while he nailed a big time 52-yard field goal, while Mitch Wishnowsky had 7 punts for 179 yards, with 2 inside the 20-yard line.
Overall, the 49ers didn’t dominate, nor did they cover the spread, which was around 10.5 points, but they will be in the NFC Championship Game against the winner of tomorrow’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, & Detroit Lions game, next Sunday at 6:30pm est/3:30pm pst on FOX, and with that said, thank you for reading, and follow me on X/Twitter @49erscap, and oh GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
