49ers SS George Odum tears biceps, out rest of the season

The 49ers suffered another serious injury last night to their safety group, this time it was George Odum, who suffered a torn biceps, and will apparently have a 2-4 month recovery period, making it possible that Odum can return in the playoffs, but he will miss the rest of the regular season.

An MRI confirmed that #49ers safety and special-teams ace George Odum suffered a torn biceps Thursday, per source. He’ll undergo surgery soon and faces a 2-to-4 month recovery, leaving an outside shot of coming back late in the playoffs.
