The 49ers officially announced the trade of Chase Young, where they only gave up a 2024 compensatory 3rd-round pick for losing Ran Carthon & DeMeco Ryans.
The 49ers are also only paying Young $561,111 for the rest of the 2023 season.
The 49ers also lost Leroy Watson IV to the Browns off of the 49ers oractice squad, no move has been made to bring in someone to the practice squad, and since this is the 49ers bye week, there’s no hurry to do so.
