According to Ian Rapoport, and others, the 49ers have acquired edge rusher Chase Young from the Washington Commanders, for what likely is a mid round pick according to Rapoport.
The 49ers will take on the remainder of his $1.01 million salary, just $561,111 for the remainder of the season, a low risk, high reward move to upgrade the pass rush.

Yeah, meant low risk, high reward, my bad, thank you for noticing that.
