The 49ers had their home opener tonight, with a 30-12 win over the Giants, in which Brock Purdy wasn’t his best early on, but he got on track during the 2nd quarter, when he connected with Ronnie Bell for a 9-yard passing touchdown.
Bell finished the game with 2 catches for 24 receiving yards, while Purdy ended the game 25/37 for 310 passing yards, and 2 passing touchdowns.
Christian McCaffrey had another great game, with 85 rushing yards on 18 carries, and a rushing touchdown, along with 5 catches for 34 receiving yards.
Deebo Samuel had a nice 27-yard receiving touchdown, and he ended the game with 129 receiving yards on 6 catches, along with 2 rushing yards on 1 carry.
George Kittle had some nice first down catches, ending the game with 7 catches for 90 receiving yards, while Jauan Jennings had 2 catches for 31 receiving yards.
Nick Bosa got his first sack of the season, while Javon Hargrave got his 2nd sack of the season, while Bosa, Hargrave had 2 tackles for loss, and Oren Burks had 2 TFLs.
Tashaun Gipson Sr., Burks, Dre Greenlaw, and Deommodore Lenoir all had 5 total tackles, while Charvarius Ward, Isaiah Oliver, & Fred Warner ended with 4 total tackles.

Jake Moody was perfect with 3 field goals, and 3 extra points, while Ray-Ray McCloud III had 3 punt returns for 23 yards.
Overall, the 49ers came out aggressive, and while Brock didn’t look great at first, he made up for it with some nice throws, especially the TD to Deebo Samuel, and the defense dominated the Giants all game long, giving up just 12 points, next up for the 49ers is the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.
