The 49ers released running back Tevin Coleman from their 53-man roster, which could be an indication that either Jason Verrett will be activated off of reserve/PUP, or the 49ers will sign a cornerback like Dontae Johnson to the 53-man roster.
I’d expect Coleman to be back on the 49ers practice squad, likely by tomorrow.
