With the 49ers loss to the Falcons last Sunday, Jimmy Garoppolo earned another $250,000 for playing 25% or more of the teams’ offensive snaps, so let’s breakdown what he’s earned of his incentives so far, and what he can earn overall.

So far Jimmy Garoppolo has played in 5 games with 25% or more of the 49ers’ offensive snaps, along with 3 of those games being wins, Garoppolo has earned $1.55 million of the $8.45 million he could have earned.

Now, the 49ers are 3-3, so he can still earn 11 games worth of the $250,000 each for 25% or more playtime, for a total of $2.75 million.

He can also earn 11 more of the team wins in which he plays 25% or more, $100,000 each, for a total of $1.1 million.

He can also, if the team makes the playoffs, and he plays 50% or more of the offensive snaps in one playoff game, he’ll earn another $500,000, and if the team makes the NFC title game he’ll earn another $500,000 if he plays 50% or more of the offensive snaps.

If the 49ers win the NFC Championship, Garoppolo would earn another $500,000, while he’d earn an additional $1 million for playing 50% or more of the offensive snaps in the Super Bowl.

So, all in all, he can earn $7.4 million of the $8.45 million, this is of course depended on the 49ers making it all the way to the Super Bowl, & winning out, which will be tough to do, but he should earn most of the $5.65 million in LTBE incentives.
