With the 49ers victory over the Panthers last Sunday, Jimmy Garoppolo earned another $350,000, $250,000 of it for playing 25% or more of the teams’ offensive snaps, and $100,000 for the team winning the game, so let’s breakdown what he’s earned of his incentives so far, and what he can earn overall.
So far Jimmy Garoppolo has played in 4 games with 25% or more of the 49ers’ offensive snaps, along with 3 of those games being wins, Garoppolo has earned $1.3 million of the $8.45 million he could have earned.
Now, the 49ers are 3-2, so he can still earn 12 games worth of the $250,000 each for 25% or more playtime, for a total of $3 million.
He can also earn 12 more of the team wins in which he plays 25% or more, $100,000 each, for a total of $1.2 million.
He can also, if the team makes the playoffs, and he plays 50% or more of the offensive snaps in one playoff game, he’ll earn another $500,000, and if the team makes the NFC title game he’ll earn another $500,000 if he plays 50% or more of the offensive snaps.
If the 49ers win the NFC Championship, Garoppolo would earn another $500,000, while he’d earn an additional $1 million for playing 50% or more of the offensive snaps in the Super Bowl.
So, all in all, he can earn $8 million of the $8.45 million, this is of course depended on the 49ers making it all the way to the Super Bowl, & winning out, which will be tough to do, but he should earn most of the $5.65 million in LTBE incentives.
