49ers officially open practice window for Jimmie Ward, & Jason Verrett

The 49ers opened the practice window for cornerback Jason Verrett, & free safety Jimmie Ward, who were on PUP, & IR respectively.

The 49ers have 21 days to activate Verrett, & Ward, if not activated, then they’ll end up staying on PUP or IR for the season.

Teams can bring back 8 players from injured reserve, so they must be smart about it, as they have several players either on IR or hurt that will likely return, including the following, in addition to Ward, & Verrett.

RB Elijah Mitchell

RB Tyrion Davis-Price

TE Tyler Kroft

LT Trent Williams

LT Colton McKivitz

DE Jordan Willis

SLB Azeez Al-Shaair
