49ers GM John Lynch announces that CB Jason Verrett will start on reserve/PUP, & NT Kalia Davis will start on reserve/NFI

According to Cam Inman, 49ers GM John Lynch has stated that both CB Jason Verrett, and NT Kalia Davis won’t be ready for the beginning of the 2022 season, with Verrett starting on reserve/PUP, and Davis on reserve/NFI.

Two #49ers roster moves (more to come)
CB Jason Verrett starting season on reserve/PUP, DT Kalia Davis on reserve/NFI. Both will miss at least firsr four games. Not surprising. JV hasn’t practiced yet and Davis is rookie coming off his own ACL tear
