The 49ers have released defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche to get to 85-players on their roster, and this comes a day after the team also released veteran cornerback Darqueze Dennard.
It’s possible both could be brought back to the teams’ practice squad, but they won’t be on the teams’ 53-man roster.
