Below are my biggest camp battles as of now.

Starting Right Guard spot: I see the team having 3 players battling it out, with all 3 being locks to make the 2022 roster, those being, incumbent starter Daniel Brunskill, 2021 6th-rounder Jaylon Moore, & 2022 4th-rounder Spencer Burford, with Moore being my favorite to win the right guard spot.

Starting Strong Safety spot: I have 4 players battling it out for the strong safety spot, Tarvarius Moore, Talanoa Hufanga, George Odum, & Leon O’Neal Jr., with Moore beijng my favorite to be the teams’ new starting strong safety in 2022.

If the team decides to keep 6 wide receivers, I believe that the 2 with the best shot are free agent signees Malik Turner, & Marcus Johnson, with Turner being my favorite to win that potential spot.

The teams #3 tight end is another big question, they re-sign Ross Dwelley, Jordan Matthews, & Tanner Hudson, and added veterans Troy Fumagalli, & Tyler Kroft, & I have Dwelley as a lock as I don’t see any of these 4 players beating him out, but it wouldn’t shock me if someone does beat him out, or if the team goes with just 2 tight ends.

On the defensive line, there’s a few camp battles in my eyes, first being the potential 6th EDGE rusher, with the competition being between Charles Omenihu, & Jordan Willis, with Omenihu being my favorite as of this moment, while Willis ends up on the practice squad.

The other battle on the d-line is the backup to Arik Armstead at the 3-Technique, with the 2 viable candidates being Kevin Givens, & Maurice Hurst Jr., with Givens being my favorite for this spot, while Hurst ends up on the practice squad.

If the 49ers keep 5 linebackers, I have the competition being between Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, & Jeremiah Gemmel, with Gemmel being my favorite to win the spot, if they keep 5 LBs.

In the secondary, the slot cornerback spot will be up for grabs, with the likes of Emmanuel Moseley, Samuel Womack III, Deommodore Lenoir, Darqueze Dennard, & Dontae Johnson battling, with Moseley being the guy who goes inside, with Ambry Thomas opposite Charvarius Ward.

And there you have it, my biggest camp battles as of now.

And as always, I thank you for reading, leave a comment, or follow me on Twitter @49erscap.
