With this roster, the 49ers would have a cap commitment of $178,146,538 for the 53-man roster & practice squad, plus $11,386,128 in dead money, for a total cap commitment of $189,532,666, leaving them $23,841,495 under their 2022 adjusted cap.
The team would need to have at least $6 million-$8 million for in season roster moves, as at the beginning of the 2021 season, the 49ers had $7,940,607, so budgeting $8 million would be a safe assumption, leaving the 49ers with $15,841,495, which they could carryover into 2023.

With this roster, the 49ers would a cap commitment of $178,076,338 for their 53-man roster, & practice squad, plus $11,636,128 in dead money, for a total cap commitment of $189,712,466, leaving them $23,661,695 under their 2022 adjusted cap.
Again, as I said for the first roster, the 49ers need to allocate $6 million-$8 million for in season roster moves, which would leave them with $15,661,695, which, again, they could carryover into 2023.
As for the 49ers current 2022 salary cap situation, the 49ers are $1,663,046 under their 2022 adjusted cap, but only the top 4 picks will count against the top 51, along with the prorated bonuses for the other 5 picks, for a total of $4,169,844, but since they’d replace 4 players making $895,000, the total needed would be only $589,844, giving the 49ers $1,073,202 in cap room, that’s if, and a big if, they use all 9 picks, and don’t trade up, or down.
As always, I thank you for reading, leave a comment, or follow me on Twitter @49erscap.
