According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the 49ers have restructured the contracts of tight end George Kittle, & defensive tackle Arik Armstead, savings a combined $18.756 million in salary cap room.
By restructuring Armstead’s contract, they saved $10.424 million, while adding on another void year, 2026, while by restructuring Kittle’s contract saves $8.332 million, and they also used void years, adding 1.
After these restructures, I have the 49ers, before the Charvarius Ward, & Oren Burks signings, $9,067,615 under their 2022 adjusted cap, and this does include both Daniel Brunskill, & Azeez Al-Shaair’s RFA tenders.
The 49ers restructured the contracts of TE George Kittle and DT Arik Armstead, creating $18.756M in 2022 cap space, per source.
