The 49ers announced today that they signed pending unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Maurice Hurst Jr., exclusive rights free agents running back JaMycal Hasty, left guard Colton McKivitz, & defensive tackle Kevin Givens, all to 1-year extensions.
This comes a day after the team re-signed center Jake Brendel to a 1-year extension.
But the biggest news of the day, 49ers wise, is that they re-signed quarterback Nate Sudfeld to a 1-year deal, worth up to $3 million, with $2 million in fully guaranteed money, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
49ers gave QB Nate Sudfeld a one-year, fully-guaranteed $2 million deal with upside to get it to $3 million, per source. There were two other teams interested in Sudfeld with, in the words of one source, “all believing he has starter potential in the league.”
