The NFL announced today that the 2022 salary cap will be the agreed upon ceiling of $208.2 million.

The 49ers currently have a $213,374,161 adjusted cap, thanks to $1,558,245 in carryover from unused 2021 cap room, & $3,615,916 in adjustments, meaning the 49ers can spend up-to $213,374,161 on their roster this season.

Right now the 49ers have 43 players signed, and are $322,285 over the 2022 cap, but that’s with just 43 players signed, when they have 51 signed they’ll be at least $5,962,285 over the cap.

The 49ers have the following free agents.
