49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel will reportedly be the next head coach of the Miami Dolphins, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, & with his departure the 49ers will now receive 2 3rd-round compensatory picks, 1 in 2022, & 1 in 2023, due to McDaniel being bi-racial, this per Tom Pelissero.
That means the 49ers will now have 9 picks in the 2022 NFL draft, 3 day 2 picks, & 6 day 3 picks.

3rd-Round Pick (93rd-overall)

We at 49erscap wish McDaniel all the best, he’ll surely be be missed, he did a great job with the run game, hopefully Anthony Lynn can be as good as McDaniel was/is.
