The 49ers recently re-signed place kicker Eddy Piñeiro to a 4-year extension, and thanks to Aaron Wilson on X/Twitter, we now have his terms.

Piñeiro got a $2.5 million signing bonus, a fully guaranteed $1.215 million 2026 base salary, a $1.5 million 2027 base salary, a fully guaranteed $1.7 million 2028 base salary, and a $4.635 million 2029 base salary, with $585,000 of it being fully guaranteed, along with a fully guaranteed $2.2 million option bonus due in 2027, and a $1.935 million option bonus due in 2028.

His yearly cap numbers are below.

2026: $1.715 million ($1.215 million base salary, & $500,000 signing bonus proration)

2027: $2.44 million ($1.5 million base salary, $500,00 signing bonus, & $440,000 2027 option bonus proration)

2028: $3.027 million ($1.7 million base salary, $500,00 signing bonus, $440,000 2027 option bonus proration, & $387,000 2028 option bonus proration)

2029: $5.962 million ($4.635 million base salary, $500,00 signing bonus, $440,000 2027 option bonus proration, & $387,000 2028 option bonus proration)

2030: $2.541 million Dead Money

The deal has $10 million in guaranteed money, with $8 million of it being fully guaranteed, and there should be some incentives in the deal to reach the reported $17 million total value.
