The 49ers were able to hold onto a 42-38 lead to beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, improving to 12-4, and can clinch the #1 seed in the NFC next week when they take on the Seattle Seahawks.

Brock Purdy went 23/33 for 303 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, along with 28 rushing yards on 6 carries and 2 rushing touchdowns.

Christian McCaffrey led the way rushing with 140 rushing yards on 23 carries, 1 rushing touchdown, along with 41 receiving yards on 4 catches, while Brian Robinson Jr. had 22 rushing yards on 4 carries, along with 1 catch for 6 receiving yards.

Ricky Pearsall led the way receiving with 85 receiving yards on 5 catches, while Jake Tonges had 60 receiving yards on 7 catches, & 1 receiving touchdown.

Jauan Jennings had 42 receiving yards on 2 catches, & 1 receiving touchdown, while Demarcus Robinson had 30 receiving yards on 2 catches, Kendrick Bourne had 25 receiving yards on 1 catch, and Kyle Juszcyzk had 2 catches for 14 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown.

Tatum Bethune led the way on defense with 11 tackles, followed by Dee Winters with 7 tackles, and Deommodore Lenoir & Upton Stout each had 4 tackles.

Luke Gifford, Jason Pinnock, Kalia Davis, Darrell Luter Jr., Malik Mustapha, Ji’Ayir Brown, & Bryce Huff each had 3 tackles.

The 49ers had 4 TFLs, 1 each for Bethune, Winters, Davis, & Sam Okuayinonu.

PBU wise the 49ers had 5, 1 each for Bethune, Mustapha, Brown, Alfred Collins, & Jordan Elliott.

Special teams wise, Eddy Pineiro went 6/6 on extra points, Thomas Morstead had 2 punts for 81-yards, with both landing inside the 20-yard line, and Skyy Moore had 4 kick returns for 92-yards, and 2 punt returns for 11-yards.
