The 49ers have officially released their injury report for their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday afternoon, with the following 4 players on the injury report.

Out:

QB Brock Purdy (Toe)

WR Ricky Pearsall (Knee)

Questionable:

QB Mac Jones (Knee & Oblique)

WR Jauan Jennings (Ankle & Rib)

With Purdy out, it’s expected that Mac Jones, despite the questionable status, will start for the 49ers, with Adrian Martinez as the teams’ backup Sunday.

While the 49ers will be without Pearsall, they should get back Jauan Jennings, so they won’t need to elevate a wide receiver, as the 49ers have 5 other healthy wide receivers on the 53, Kendrick Bourne, Demarcus Robinson, Skyy Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, & Jordan Watkins.

As for who will be elevated, honestly it’s any ones best guess, as there are only 4 players on the injury report this week, also it should be noted that the 49ers are likely to open the practice window for rookie quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who was taken in the 7th-round, so he could be on the 53-man roster if he’s fully recovered from his ACL injury suffered in college.

Also, the 49ers may have strong safety Malik Mustapha back this week, who has been on reserve/PUP while recovering from a torn ACL in week 18 last season.
