The 49ers 2024 regular season has come to an end, as they fell 47-24 in Arizona to the Cardinals, in a game where the team was without several starters, namely quarterback Brock Purdy, wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr., & cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, and with the loss, the 49ers own the 11th-overall pick in 2025 NFL Draft.

Joshua Dobbs started in place of Purdy, going 29/43 for 326 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, along with 17 rushing yards on 8 carries.

Patrick Taylor Jr. led the team in rushing with 109 rushing yards on 17 carries, while Isaac Guerendo had 5 rushing yards on 2 carries, but left early in the first half after an injury.

Ricky Pearsall led the team in receiving with 69 receiving yards on 6 catches, and 1 receiving touchdown, while Chris Conley had 4 catches for 59 receiving yards.

Jauan Jennings, who was ejected after getting two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, had 52 receiving yards on 7 catches, falling shy of the 1000 receiving yards.

Kyle Juszcyzk had 2 catches for 49 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.

Jacob Cowing had 30 receiving yards on 2 catches, plus 7 rushing yards on 1 carry, while George Kittle had 27 receiving yards on 2 catches, Eric Saubert had 17 receiving yards on 4 catches, Taylor had 12 receiving yards on 1 catch, and Trent Taylor had 1 catch for 11 receiving yards.

Defensive wise, Fred Warner led the team with 8 tackles, followed by Dee Winters with 6 tackles, followed by Talanoa Hufanga, Nick McCloud, & Ji’Ayir Brown each had 5 tackles.

Sam Okuayinonu, & Tatum Bethune each had 4 tackles, while Tashaun Gipson Sr., Charvarius Ward, Leonard Floyd, & Renardo Green finished with 3 tackles each.

The team had no sacks, but did have 3 TFLs, 1 each by Warner, Hufanga, & Okuayinonu.

PBU wise, the team had 5, 3 by Green, and 1 each for Brown, & Rock Ya-Sin.

Special teams wise, Jake Moody went 1/2 on field goals, connecting on a 50-yarder, but missed a 47-yarder, while Pat O’Donnell had 2 punts for 100 yards, with 1 punt landing inside the 20-yard line, Cowing had 1 kick return for 32-yards, and 1 punt return for 15-yards.

Overall, the 49ers came out playing with fire, but after losing Jennings to an ejection, and injuries to Malik Mustapha, Hufanga, & Guerendo, the team just couldn’t keep up with the Cardinals, with that the season is finally over, and as I mentioned before, the 49ers hold the 11th-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
