The 49ers announced more roster moves today, as they placed defensive tackle Kevin Givens on injured reserve, which is likely season-ending, as he tore his pectoral muscle, while the 49ers also signed running back Patrick Taylor Jr. off their practice squad to their 53-man roster, and signed running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn to the practice squad.

These moves were expected to happen, as head coach Kyle Shanahan had said the 49ers would place Givens on injured reserve, and promote Taylor, while reports yesterday said the 49ers would sign Vaughn to the practice squad.

The 49ers are still likely to place running back Jordan Mason on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain.
