The 49ers went into Green Bay, and got blown out by the Packers 38-10, in a game where they were without 4 starters, quarterback Brock Purdy, left tackle Trent Williams, defensive end Nick Bosa, & cornerback Charvarius Ward.
Brandon Allen, who started for Purdy, went 17/29 for 199 passing yards, 1 touchdown pass, & 1 interception, he also had 5 rushing yards on 2 carries, along with 2 fumbles, 1 that he lost, leading to a Packers touchdown, same for the 1 interception, which is more on Deebo Samuel Sr., who should have caught the pass.
Christian McCaffrey led the team in rushing with 31 rushing yards on 11 carries, along with 37 receiving yards on 3 catches, followed by Jordan Mason with 16 rushing yards on 2 carries.
George Kittle led the team in receiving with 82 receiving yards on 6 catches, and the teams lone touchdown.
Jauan Jennings had 40 receiving yards on 4 catches, while Samuel had just 1 catch for 21 receiving yards, followed by Kyle Juszczyk with 14 receiving yards on 1 catch, and Mason had 1 catch for 5 receiving yards.
Defensively, Isaac Yiadom, & Malik Mustapha led the team with 9 tackles each, followed by De’Vondre Campbell Sr. with 8 tackles, Fred Warner, &N Deommodore Lenoir had 6 tackles each, while Renardo Green had 5 tackles.
Leonard Floyd had the teams only sacks, 2 of them, while having 4 tackles, while Yetur Gross-Matos, Evan Anderson, & Ji’Ayir Brown also had 4 tackles each.
TFL wise, the team had 5 2 by Floyd, 1 by Lenoir, 1 by Campbell, and 1 by Sam Okuayinonu.
PBU wise, the 49ers had just 3, 1 each by Yiadom, Green, & Brown, with the latter two dropping potential interceptions.
Special teams wise, Jake Moody went 1/1 on field goal attempts, making a 48-yarder, while hitting his only extra point attempt, Pat O’Donnell had 3 punts for 147-yards, with 1 inside the 20-yard line, while Samuel had 2 kick returns for 52-yards, while Mason had 1 kick return for 29-yards, & Isaac Guerendo had 1 kick return for 22-yards, and Ricky Pearsall had 3 punt returns for 41-yards.
Overall, the 49ers were decimated by injuries, not having their starting QB, LT, & top EDGE hurt the team, plus not having Ward also hurt, but the team was outplayed, they deserved to lose this game, they made too many mental mistakes, and errors, but the 49ers are still in this, while they are 5-6, the NFC West is up for grabs in my eyes, and with that I said thank you for reading, you can follow me on X/Twitter @49erscap & on Blue Sky App @49erscap.bsky.social.
