The 49ers made a series of roster moves today, ahead of tomorrow’s game against the New England Patriots.

They officially placed nose tackle Javon Hargrave & middle linebacker Curtis Robinson on injured reserve, Hargrave suffered a partially torn triceps in the 49ers week 3 lose to the Rams, and Robinson tore his ACL earlier this week during practice.

The 49ers also signed defensive end Sam Okuayinonu to the 53-man roster, from the practice squad, while they have elevated both nose tackle Evan Anderson, and free safety Jaylen Mahoney from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game.

Even with these roster moves, the 49ers have only 51 players signed to their 53-man active roster, meaning they have 2 spots that they can fill, one of which may end up being for wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who was shot in the chest well before week 1, & is currently on reserve/NFI, which means he had to miss at least 4 games.

It’s also possible that weakside linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who ruptured his Achilles in the Super Bowl this past February, could be activated off of reserve/PUP, but we have no clue how far along Greenlaw is with his rehab.
