The 49ers recently restructured the contract of tight end George Kittle, which saw the team convert $12.275 million into a signing bonus, which saved the team $9.82 million.

Kittle’s 2025 cap number will go up by $2.455 million, while he’ll have a pending dead money hit of $13.676 million in 2026.

I’m assuming Kittle’s new 2024 base salary, $1.125 million, is now fully guaranteed, but I’ve yet to be able to confirm this.
