The 49ers recently restructured the contract of middle linebacker Fred Warner, in which they converted $13.175 million of his base salary into a signing bonus to save $10.54 million in cap room.

His 2024-2026 salary cap numbers will go up by $2.635 million each year, and he will have pending dead money in 2027 in the amount of $9.479 million.

Nothing else changed in Warner’s contract, I can’t confirm, but I’m assuming his 2024 base salary is now fully guaranteed, which is now just $1.125 million.
