The 49ers went into to Washington, and took care of business, with a 27-10 win over the Commanders, in a game where Brock Purdy set the 49ers single season record for passing yards, he went 22/28 for 230 yards, 2 touchdowns, & more importantly no interceptions, and the touchdowns were to Deebo Samuel, & Brandon Aiyuk.
Samuel finished with 5 catches for 37 yards, and Aiyuk finished with 114 yards on 7 catches, Samuel also had 35 yards on 3 carries.
George Kittle went over 1000 receiving yards today, as he had 3 catches for 29 yards, while Kyle Juszczyk had 3 catches for 23 yards.
On the ground Christian McCaffrey had 64 yards on 14 carries, along with 27 receiving yards on 4 catches, but exited the game with a calf injury, but most likely to be cautious.
Elijah Mitchell led the team with 80 rushing yards on 17 carries, and a touchdown.
Defensive wise, the 49ers had 2 takeaways, interceptions by Charvarius Ward, and Deommodore Lenoir.
Ward finished the game with 4 total tackles, and Lenoir with 3 tackles.
Dre Greenlaw led the team with 10 tackles, while his running mate Fred Warner had 6 tackles.
Nick Bosa had 3 tackles, while Chase Young had 1 tackle, Javon Hargrave had 1 tackle, and Javon Kinlaw had 2 tackles.
Tashaun Gipson Sr. had 2 tackles, while Logan Ryan had 3 tackles.
TFL wise, Bosa had 2, Ward with 1, Ferrell, who had the teams’ lone sack also had a TFL.
On special teams, Jake Moody was perfect on his field goals, going 2/2, along with being 3/3 on extra points, while Mitch Wishnowsky had just 2 punts, both inside the 20-yard line.
Next up for the 49ers is the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday, where they’ll have the chance to clinch the #1 seed, unless the Cardinals can come back to the beat the Eagles rigjht now.
