The 49ers took care of business today in a 27-14 win over the Buccaneers, improving to 7-3 on the season, but they may have lost Talanoa Hufanga for the season, as he went out of the game with a knee injury on a non contact play, but rookie Ji’Ayir Brown did a great job in his place.
Brock Purdy ended the game 21/25 for 333 passing yards, and 3 touchdowns, 1 each for Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, & George Kittle.
McCaffrey finished the game with 21 carries for 78 yards, along with 5 catches for 25 yards.
Aiyuk finished the game with 5 catches for 156 yards, Kittle finished with 89 yards on 8 catches, and Deebo Samuel finished with 3 catches for 63 yards.
On defense, the 49ers had a total of 4 sacks, 1 each for Nick Bosa, Chase Young, & Arik Armstead, while Fred Warner, & Dre Greenlaw each had a half a sack.
Warner finished the game with 11 tackles, while Greenlaw had 8 tackles.
Bosa ended with 3 tackles, Young 2 tackles, & Armstead 3 tackles.
Javon Hargrave finished with 4 tackles, same for Ji’Ayir Brown, & Ambry Thomas, while Charvarius Ward had 9 tackles.
Ward, Armstead, & Young all had a TFL.
Brown had his first interception, while Clelin Ferrell recovered a fumble in the first half, which led to a field goal by Jake Moody.
On special teams, Ray-Ray McCloud III had 2 kick returns for 40 yards, and 1 punt return for 2 yards.
Moody was perfect on the day, with 2 field goals, and 3 extra points.
Overall, the 49ers played a good game, not their best game, but they got the job done, but they may have lost Hufanga to a season-ending knee injury, more to come on that later, but next up is the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, at Lumen Stadium, in Seattle, Washington on Thanksgiving night on NBC.
