Brock Purdy ready to go, won’t begin season on PUP list, no restrictions

Just now General Manager John Lynch announced that QB Brock Purdy is ready to go, cleared to practice, with no restrictions.

This is great news, as the team should have a nice 3 QB competition for the starting spot, with Purdy obviously being the favorite.

49ers QB Brock Purdy will NOT begin 2023 season on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list, meaning he's cleared to at least partially practice just 4.5 months after a March 10 surgery to repair a torn UCL in his elbow.
